Day 1
Join a full-day whale-watching expedition off the West Coast to witness the southern hemisphere’s largest gathering of humpback whales, with a peak season for sightings from November to January. This 6-hour boat tour can be booked from November to March and includes breakfast and lunch. Departures are usually from Yzerfontein and offer the chance to spot other rich marine life too. Visiting between April and October? Then try some horseback riding on Paternoster beach or a stroll along the crayfish wharf. Please note that sightings aren’t guaranteed, warm clothing is advised, and children under 12 aren’t permitted on board.
